Interactive Developer (Intern)

You'll be working with our Creative Team and have the opportunity to create real world projects with reputable clients. To apply you must have knowledge in the following programming languages - HTML/CSS/PHP/Javascript. Successful execution of the following test is also required to be considered for the position:

  1. Create a Facebook page
  2. Create a sample event on your Facebook Page
  3. Create an application on Facebook to obtain Application ID, & Secret Key
  4. Using the Facebook Graph API, from the event you created in Step 2. Create a page on your server using php or javascript displaying the event with information (title of event, location, time (formatted), date (formatted), people attending)

Video Editor (Intern)

You will be involved a multitude of productions, editing everything from TV clips, reality, to commercials, music video, and film. You will be part of the post-production department and also work with the ins and outs of workflow and support. You will be working under an experienced editor and a post-production coordinator who will guide and mentor you to further develop your skills. We have all kinds of equipment at our studio from 35mm cameras to RED and other digital formats and everything from picture edit, color correction to ADR, Foley, and final mix. This is your chance to grow and step into the new media industry and learn from the pros. In addition, if you excel in your internship there are opportunities for you to work on our productions after your internship.

Requirements

  1. Ownership of a laptop, preferrably Macbook
  2. Experience in Final Cut
  3. Proficient in apple hardware and software troubleshooting is a plus
  4. Experience in After Effects is a plus
  5. Showreel or clips of your previous editing work

Production Assistant (Intern)

NextSelection has well over 3,000 hours of video footage in its inventory. The Production Assistant Intern will be trained to digitize footage. You will also be responsible for assisting the editors and producers with projects being produced for any one of our clients.

Responsibilities

  1. Organizing all the logistics from hiring crew, renting equipment, and booking talent
  2. Archiving and cataloging daily footage captured
  3. Coordinate tapes to be digitized and utilized for online
  4. Assist with all other aspects of pre and post production
